inside the acrylic chamber is a circular slice of heavy duty vinyl canvas that was once the outer skin of an outfield wall pad that served in Shea Stadium, the former home of the New York Mets, formally
located in Flushing (Queens), New York from 1964 thru 2008.
The wall pad used to create this unique piece of New York City history was authenticated by Major
League Baseball (MLB Authenticated Serial Number SH-073663). This long & narrow wall pad was marked "LF-2" on its
reverse side (see posted photo).
Judging by that notation AND by its shape, it had to have been one of the two long wall pads that hung under the Mets retired numbers in left field of Shea .... and
most likely the pad that hung directly under Tom Seaver's retired # 41 banner! Other then being wiped down
with a damp cloth to remove any surface dirt, each keyring's skin is exactly as
it was the day it was removed from Shea Stadium. Any/all imperfections you see to these wall pad slices

This key ring is made in the U.S.A. & measures 3/4" x 3/4"
x 3/4".
Its constructed from the lower (wooden) part of an
infield side wall
pad/panel that served in Shea Stadium, the former home
of the New York Mets,
formally located in Flushing (Queens), New York from 1964 thru 2008. (Pics of that actual pad are posted below)
The panel used to create this unique piece of New York City history was authenticated by Major
League Baseball (MLB Authenticated Serial Number SH-070884). These wall panels were installed
in Shea Stadium in the 1980s & served thru 2008. Traces of authentic Shea Stadium warning track dust/dirt are
