OK ....Here's The Deal On This Item..... 

I Bought This Cap A Few Years Back Because It

Looked Accurate For The Period That Tom Played

For The Mets And Because It Had Seaver's

'41' Written In Pen Under The Bill ....

The Spot Where Players Usually Wrote In Their

Uniform Numbers On Their Caps In Those Days.  

The Manufacturer & Mets Logo Are Accurate For 

The Era When Tom Played For The Mets. 

The Cap Size Tag, Unfortunately, Is Long Gone. 

I Showed The Cap To Mr. Seaver & Asked Him If There

Was ANY  Way He Could Posibly Autheniticate It.  

He Examainted It For A While, Looked Under The

Sweatband, Etc., But He Was Not Able To Confirm

With Certainty If This Cap Was Once One Of His, Or Not.

When I Asked Him If He Could Try It On For Me,

He Declined To Do ..... So, That's The Deal .......

It Could Be His, But I Just Don't Know For Sure!
